I just came across this photo set of a knife called the Badger from Fallen Oaks Forge and was immediately drawn to the handle shape. Fallen Oak Forge obviously knows how to make a comfortable handle for a working knife. The finish looks silky smooth and every edge is rounded. If I am going to have a knife in my hand for a long time, I appreciate handles that achieve grip via a smart contours and a generous palm swell rather than hard edges and abrasive textures.
This particular Badger sports a 4 1/8″ drop point blade with a flat saber grind. That half height saber grind coupled with the 1/4″ 5160 steel stock it is ground from should make this knife an absolute beast. The knife is topped off with black micarta handles and kydex sheath.
